Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12) through the TEA.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ARD committee to create and implement IEPs tailored to each student.
• Provide differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor progress by collecting and analyzing data to ensure IEP goals are met.
• Work with general educators, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies.
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth with accommodations.
