Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to empower students with diverse needs. You will develop IEPs in collaboration with ARD teams, deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings, and monitor progress to ensure goals are met.

Work with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success, implement BIPs, and adapt strategies to foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education expected.
• Texas EC-12 Educator Certification in Special Education expected.
• Knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA, and familiarity with the ARD process. CPR certification is preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings
• Monitor student progress and adapt interventions to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with general and special education teams and families
• Promote positive behavior through behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through accommodations and modifications
