Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse needs and help them reach their educational goals. You’ll develop IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings, and monitor progress to ensure progress toward goals.

You’ll collaborate with ARD teams, general education staff, families, and related service providers to implement personalized plans and behavior supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Texas EC-12 Certification in Special Education.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD processes; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Plans: Collaborate with ARD to create IEPs tailored to each student.
• Deliver Specialized Instruction: Differentiate instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor Progress: Collect and analyze data to track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work with general education staff, families, and related service providers.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Implement behavior supports and classroom management strategies.
• Support Students’ Growth: Address academic, social, and emotional needs with accommodations.
