Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to empower students and collaborate with ARD teams to craft tailored IEPs. You will deliver differentiated instruction across settings and track progress to ensure goals are met.

The role emphasizes collaboration with general education staff, families, and related services, with focus on inclusive practices and data-driven interventions. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field is required.
• Texas Educator Certification (EC-12) in Special Education is required by TEA.
• Knowledge of IDEA and ARD process is essential.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs in collaboration with ARD committee.
• Provide differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.
• Monitor student progress with data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and classroom management strategies.
• Support student growth with accommodations and modifications.
