Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Wisconsin seeks an Employment Unit Supervisor to lead a team of employment services professionals, coordinate workforce programs, and drive participant employability through work experience sites and direct hire placements.

You will foster partnerships, monitor performance, provide coaching, ensure compliance with W-2 policies, and contribute to strategic planning for employment services.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Workforce Development, Human Services, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment services, workforce development, or program supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of local labor market trends and employer engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employment services staff and ensure alignment with W-2 program goals and performance standards.
• Coordinate workforce development programs including TEMP, Transitional Jobs, and vocational training initiatives.
• Oversee development and maintenance of work experience sites and employer partnerships.
• Facilitate direct hire placements and job readiness workshops to support participant employment outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand access to employment and training resources.
• Monitor program performance, staff productivity, and participant outcomes.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to employment services staff.
• Ensure compliance with W-2 policies, workforce program regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to strategic planning for employment services.
