Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a Career Advisor to build a professional, one-on-one relationship with clients, assess needs, and coordinate services to remove employment barriers.

You will provide case management, ensure documentation is complete, maintain client databases, deliver job-prep workshops, and collaborate with business services to align trainings with in-demand roles, all while upholding compliance and equity.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, developing workforce curriculum, public speaking and content development
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts
• Customer service experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional understanding of a vast array of occupations and career paths

Responsibilities

• Build professional one-on-one relationships with clients to aid in eliminating employment barriers.
• Provide consistent case management and follow-up.
• Ensure documentation is completed and received.
• Maintain organized database of clients and detailed case notes.
• Provide individualized assessments and referrals to services.
• Document all participant contacts and activities in case notes.
• Create solutions to attendance problems and manage workshops.
• Collaborate with business services to identify available jobs and necessary qualifications.
