Job summary

SERCO OF TEXAS - HEART OF TEXAS seeks a Business Services Representative to connect employers with job seekers and promote workforce program services in the Waco area. You will handle outreach, employer engagement, job posting assistance, and candidate recruitment to exceed performance goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating with state labor programs, maintaining data in WorkInTexas.com, and delivering excellent service to business customers and center participants.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or employer relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with employment services and local job market.
• Proficient in data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Customer-focused with a track record of meeting targets.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to employers and engage with local businesses.
• Market Center services to create job opportunities and placements.
• Assist employers with posting jobs and crafting descriptions.
• Recruit candidates and coordinate with state job programs.
• Maintain records in WorkInTexas.com and monitor progress toward goals.
