Job summary

MetLife’s Group Benefits team in the United States is seeking a Client Service Consultant in Illinois after a 4-month training program. You will provide administrative and client service to MetLife group insurance customers, collaborating with brokers and partners to deliver value.

You will build product and process knowledge, strengthen communication and problem-solving skills, and support end-to-end service.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• General understanding of U.S. economy and employee benefits industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and AI-enabled tools.
• Self-motivated to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete required MetLife training programs, including graduation from the Service Academy Program.
• Partner with an experienced mentor to learn MetLife products, services, platforms, and client relationships.
• Develop expertise in MetLife Group Benefits offerings, systems, and service processes.
• Strengthen core competencies in customer service, communication, project management, relationship management, and problem-solving.
• Support customer accounts by collaborating with internal and external partners, delivering solutions, and enhancing the end-to-end customer experience.
• Contribute to business operations through client audits, strategic planning, reporting and trend analysis, leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and validate outputs.
