Job summary

MetLife is hiring for a Client Service Consultant (CSC) within the Group Benefits team in Massachusetts. The role begins with a 4-month training program combining classroom and on‑the‑job learning to build expertise in employee benefits, platforms, and client servicing.

As a CSC, you will provide administrative and client service to MetLife group insurance customers, collaborate with internal and external partners, and leverage AI tools to improve efficiency while delivering a superior

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, effectively handles multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible.
• General understanding of U.S. economy and employee benefits industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and AI enabled tools.
• Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development.

Responsibilities

• Complete required MetLife training programs.
• Partner with an experienced mentor to gain hands‑on knowledge of MetLife products, services, platforms, and customer relationships.
• Develop expertise in MetLife Group Benefits offerings, systems, and service processes.
• Strengthen core competencies in customer service, communication, project management, relationship management, and consultative problem‑solving.
• Support customer accounts by collaborating with internal and external partners, delivering solutions, and enhancing the end‑to‑end customer experience.
• Contribute to business operations through client audits, strategic planning, reporting and trend analysis, while leveraging approved AI tools to improve efficiency and validate outputs.
