Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support the Account Manager in supervising and coordinating all aspects of the security contract at the assigned post.

The role includes coaching Security Professionals, maintaining post orders, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with client instructions. A management onboarding course supports success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years professional-level experience in security or related field preferred.
• Valid state Guard License required; background check and drug test.
• Driver's license with clean driving record for driving positions.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train, coach others, and enforce post orders and policies.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours; available for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Manager in coordinating security contract execution at the site.
• Supervise and motivate Security Professionals; direct daily tasks and performance.
• Maintain Post Order manuals and training information; ensure site is clean and organized.
• Assist in interviewing and training new employees; conduct on-the-job training.
• Oversee reports, logs, and pass downs; disseminate information to staff.
• Manage sub-units within Security Department (e.g., control room, dispatch).
• Handle incidents; ensure proper reporting and timely notifications.
• Address personnel issues and escalate to Account Manager or HR as needed.
• Provide client relationship support and respond to emergencies.
• Occasionally perform Security Officer duties up to 50% of time.
