Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Account Manager to lead daily security operations and direct a team of security officers and supervisors. You will guide, develop, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service while ensuring client contract hours are met with efficient scheduling.

This role focuses on protecting people and property, maintaining high safety standards, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle while conducting business.
• Minimum of two years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.
• Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
• Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing to control inventory costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to schedule security officers, meeting contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime.
• Lead and develop security teams: Hire, coach and manage officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations.
• Enhance client relationships: Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service.
• Handle security incidents and emergencies: Respond to escalated issues, coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Direct compliance and security operational excellence: Oversee training, safety, site standards and inventory management.
