Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to assist the Account Manager with supervisory, training and operations functions at the assigned post. A week-long onboarding course will provide best practices, tools, and guidance to support success.

Responsibilities include coordinating contractual security operations, supervising staff, maintaining post orders, conducting interviews and on-the-job training, and overseeing incident reporting and communications across the security team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional-level security experience required.
• Must have a valid state Guard License and pass background check.
• Driver's license with at least one year driving experience and clean record.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to de-escalate situations.
• Ability to train and coach others and enforce post orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects (technical and managerial) of executing the security contract at the assigned location.
• Supervise shift supervisors or Security Professionals and evaluate work performance.
• Maintain Post Order and ensure post is clean, organized, and updated.
• Assist in interviewing and on-the-job training of new employees.
• Oversee reports, logs, and communications within the Security Department.
• Manage sub-units such as fire control room, command center, and loading docks.
• Respond to incidents, ensure proper reporting, and notify appropriate parties.
• May perform Security Professional duties up to 50% of weekly time.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

3–5 years professional security experience

Valid state Guard License

Driver's License + clean driving record

Customer service orientation

Ability to train and coach others
