Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to assist in the ED with patient care, specimen collection, and documentation. The role supports RNs and applies sterile technique, with a focus on safety, privacy, and quality care in a fast-paced environment. Primary day shift is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
with some flexibility; every third weekend may include 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. A Wisconsin CNA or EMT certification is required, along with BLS certification.
The Emergency Room Technician (ERT) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Emergency Department performs routine treatments, assists in the collection of patient specimens (urine, stool, and finger stick blood glucose), documents in accordance with departmental policies, assists the RN with nursing care and treatments as needed and completes other patient care duties as assigned.
