Qualifications

• Three (3) years emergency dispatch experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must have CPR Certification, EMD Certification, POST Certification, law enforcement dispatch training, and NCIC/NLETS training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise dispatch operations for assigned shift.
• Train and evaluate dispatch personnel.
• Manage staff scheduling; prepare time sheets.
• Respond to calls and provide emergency response assistance; dispatch crews.
• As required, serve as Training Officer, EMD Instructor and CPR Instructor.
• As required, maintain MSAG databases and address changes.
• Perform administrative duties and respond to emails.
