Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EMC Engineer to join the ACE team. You will lead EMI/EMC testing and verification for advanced aerospace systems, ensuring MIL-STD-461 compliance and integration with RF and power architectures.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing full MIL-STD-461 suites, operating precision EMI test equipment, and delivering detailed reports while driving design improvements.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline
  • 3 years of hands-on EMC/EMI testing and verification
  • In-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-461G, DO-160G, MIL-B-5087, NASA-STD-4003, CISPR standards
  • Proficiency in EMI test automation software and data analysis
  • Experience working in small, fast-paced teams
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead EMI/EMC test planning and verification for aerospace systems
  • Develop and refine EMI/EMC test plans and procedures
  • Execute MIL-STD-461 test suites and document results
  • Operate and maintain EMI/EMC test equipment
  • Produce rigorous test reports with spectral data and margins
  • Troubleshoot EMI issues and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to define EMI/EMC requirements
