Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EMC Engineer to join the ACE Electromagnetics team. You will lead EMI/EMC test and verification for spacecraft electrical systems, developing detailed test plans and executing MIL-STD-461 across avionics.

You will operate advanced EMI test equipment, generate comprehensive reports, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and compliance. relocation available for this key role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or Physics.
• 3 years of hands-on EMC/EMI testing and verification across MIL-STD-461 methods.
• Deep knowledge of MIL-STD-461G, DO-160G, and related standards.
• Proficiency in EMI test automation software, data acquisition, and spectral analysis.
• Experience working in small, cross-functional teams and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication; ability to build trust and collaborate.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. with appropriate status.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC test and verification for aerospace electrical systems.
• Develop and refine EMI/EMC test plans and procedures.
• Execute MIL-STD-461 test suites (CE, CS, RE, RS) across avionics.
• Operate and maintain EMI test equipment and calibration records.
• Produce rigorous test reports with margins, spectra, and pass/fail determinations.
