Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to join the ACE Electromagnetics team. You will lead EMI/EMC testing, develop verification strategies, and ensure compliance for aerospace systems.

The role involves MIL-STD-461 test execution, data analysis, and collaboration across engineering disciplines. Required are a BS in a technical field and 3 years of EMC/EMI testing experience, plus proficiency with EMI test equipment and automation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Aerospace, Physics or related field.
• 3 years hands-on EMC/EMI testing across MIL-STD-461 methods.
• Proficiency with EMI test automation software and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC test and verification per MIL-STD-461 guidelines.
• Develop detailed EMI/EMC test plans and procedures for avionics.
• Execute MIL-STD-461 tests (CE, CS, RE, RS) and document results.
• Troubleshoot failures and propose corrective actions.
