Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a skilled EMC Engineer to join the ACE Electromagnetics team in advancing spaceflight safety and performance. You will execute EMI/EMC testing, develop verification strategies, and ensure MIL-STD-461 alignment across avionics systems.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, maintaining test equipment, and delivering rigorous reports while collaborating with design teams and achieving program milestones.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering; 5+ years in EMC/EMI testing
• Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-461G and aerospace standards
• Experience designing test plans and documenting results
• Ability to lead, mentor, and work across multiple teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as responsible engineer for EMI/EMC test and verification with MIL-STD-461 alignment
• Author EMI/EMC documentation, including test strategies and margin plans
• Design, develop, and refine Test Plans and Test Procedures for EMI/EMC
• Lead execution of the MIL-STD-461 test suite (CE101, CE102, CS101, CS114, CS115, CS116, RE101, RE102, RS101, RS103)
