Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced EMC Engineer to join the ACE EMC team. You will execute rigorous EMI/EMC testing, develop verification strategies, and ensure spaceflight safety for advanced electrical systems.

You will design test plans, perform MIL-STD-461 tests, and produce high-quality reports while collaborating across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced environment. Relocation is provided for this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
3 years of hands-on EMC/EMI testing across MIL-STD-461 CE/CS/RE/RS test methods.
In-depth knowledge MIL-STD-461G, DO-160G, MIL-B-5087, NASA-STD-4003, CISPR standards.
Proficiency with EMI test automation software and data analysis.
Ability to work in small, fast-paced engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as responsible engineer for electrical system EMI/EMC test and verification.
Design, develop, and refine Test Plans and Procedures for EMI/EMC tests.
Perform MIL-STD-461 test suite execution and reporting.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain EMI test equipment and fixtures.
Troubleshoot test failures and recommend corrective actions.
Contribute to EMI/EMC requirements definition and verification across vehicle and systems.
