Zusammenfassung

AV seeks an entry-level Software Engineer I (Embedded) to develop software for unmanned and robotic systems. You will write, test, and debug code for embedded devices used in aircraft and payloads, supporting prototypes and production transitions in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under supervision, learn AV’s development processes, and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams while potentially traveling for testing and field work. Strong programming and debugging skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• BS degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Python, C, C++11, C++ STL and OpenCL.
• Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio or Eclipse.
• Familiar with common serial/bus protocols (RS-485, RS-232, CAN, I2C, SPI, USB).

• Write and test software for sensors and embedded processors in aircraft or robotics.
• Design and implement software for prototypes using established tools and practices.
• Assist in requirements, test plans, diagnostics, and hardware recommendations.
