RRC Solutions Group in Salt Lake City is seeking a hands-on Embedded OS Engineer to own the Ubuntu-based Linux firmware stack for our MK2 drone platform (Qualcomm QRB5165). You will build, secure, and ship the OS through automated CI/CD pipelines in a headless hardware context.

• Experience with Yocto BitBake, headless embedded systems.
• Comfort navigating low-level OS internals and systemd, udev rules.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated builds.

• Own the Ubuntu-based Linux firmware stack for the MK2 drone platform.
• Write and maintain BitBake recipes and patches against the upstream BSP.
• Debug and optimize the build pipeline, manage sstate-cache and parallel builds.
• Harden the OS and manage post-build customization and security patches.
• Maintain Jenkins pipelines and ensure reproducible builds.
• Configure systemd services, network configs and field-logging capabilities.
