Job summary

Juno is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to own member communications via email and SMS at high volume. You’ll ship campaigns in Customer.io, build segmentation, and measure impact across applications, funded loans, and signups.

Based in Miami or willing to relocate, you’ll collaborate with product, data, and compliance to keep programs precise, compliant, and scalable while leveraging AI to improve content and automation.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in hands-on email marketing, CRM, or marketing ops.
• Built and sent campaigns in an ESP (Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
• Willing to deepen data skills or own a channel as an ops pro.
• You love email and SMS as high-leverage channels.
• Clear writing to drive action and measurable results.
• Comfort with data, funnel reasoning, and segmentation.
• AI tools used to improve processes; know where they fail.
• Precise, reliable, and able to ship at scale.
• Based in Miami or willing to relocate; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Own email and SMS end-to-end: build, QA, and ship campaigns in Customer.io.
• Translate goals into a calendar of sends and manage the schedule weekly.
• Learn the product/data model: signup → rate offer → application → funded loan.
• Define audience by vertical, school, stage, and loan status to avoid mis-scopes.
• Personalize at scale using member data and Liquid for optimization.
• Measure campaigns: opens, clicks, applications started/completed, loans funded.
• Run experiments on subject lines, timing, sequencing, and offers; document learnings.
• Keep messaging compliant: compliance review, suppression, deliverability hygiene.
• Use AI as multiplier: draft, QA, and debug with AI; catch wrong outputs.
