Job summary

RR Donnelley (RRD) seeks a Legal Document Specialist for onsite work in Phoenix, AZ. The position supports time-sensitive legal document projects, collaborating with teammates across shifts and locations.

Daily tasks include producing quality legal documents with Word processing, formatting, and data entry. The role requires high school completion, advanced MS Office skills, and experience in legal word processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience in legal word processing preferred
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience and exposure in legal word processing tasks such as TOAs/TOCs, PDFs to Word conversions, styling, cross-references, and automated fields
• Knowledge of legal terminology and legal citations preferred

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and format legal documents to firm specifications using various software applications
• Convert, clean and format documents to/from different file formats
• Create charts, graphs, tables, and spreadsheets as requested
• Create and/or edit Tables of Authorities and Table of Contents
• Perform data entry utilizing various software applications
• Transcribe analog or digital dictation files
• Restore/recover corrupted document files as necessary
• Provide telephone help desk support to troubleshoot application queries
• Complete all assigned jobs by the deadline in an accurate and timely manner
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
• Follow established policies and procedures at all times
• Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned
