Job summary

The Atlantic District in Elkton, MD seeks an Elite Insurance Agent to advise clients on personal and commercial coverage, build a local client base, and present tailored proposals. You will collaborate with carriers, manage a growing book of business, and contribute to community events.

You will work in a supportive team environment with hands-on training, a flexible schedule, and opportunities for career growth as you help families and businesses secure peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property and Casualty insurance license.
• Three or more years of experience in direct insurance sales or account management.
• Strong comfort level with consultative selling rather than high-pressure tactics.
• Technical proficiency in standard insurance agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client risk profiles to recommend the most effective and protective insurance coverage.
• Manage an existing book of business while proactively reaching out to community members who need better coverage.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals that clearly explain policy benefits and limitations.
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions within our digital systems.
• Coordinate with carriers to negotiate favorable terms and resolve complex underwriting challenges.
• Attend local events in the Elkton area to stay connected with the people we serve.
