Job summary

The Atlantic District invites an Insurance Agent to join our Waldorf, Maryland team. You will serve neighbors as a trusted advisor, helping individuals and local businesses protect what matters most with a plan built around personal service and integrity.

You will work with a supportive team, enjoy a base salary plus commissions and bonus opportunities, and access hands-on training in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Property and Casualty license is required.
• 3+ years of sales or client advisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard agency management software.
• Clear and articulate communication for phone and in-person consultations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with commercial lines of insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with community members to discuss current coverage and identify gaps.
• Prepare and present insurance solutions for families and local business owners.
• Manage inquiries with a focus on solving problems and providing honest answers.
• Conduct periodic policy reviews to keep coverage aligned with clients' evolving lives.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure accurate and efficient applications.
• Represent the office at local events to foster Waldorf community connections.

Requirements
