Job summary

Encore seeks a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will handle on-site equipment checks, client interactions, and on-the-spot troubleshooting under supervision of the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred), 1 year of customer service or AV experience, and a valid driver's license for vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• Internal applicants must meetEncore’s Global Learning Training Program requirements.
• External applicants must complete training and certifications within one year.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure a flawless event.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships through effective on-site communication.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete system entries and paperwork accurately and coordinate with staff and vendors.
• Assist clients with invoices and up-sell services when appropriate.
