Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 60 semester/90 quarter hours preferred.
• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to interview applicants and gather necessary information.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants and recipients in person or by telephone to determine eligibility for public assistance programs.
• Enter data into a computer-based eligibility system based on collected information.
• Compute and authorize benefits according to regulations and procedures.
• Process work in accordance with state and federal guidelines and timeframes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
