Health & Health & Human Services Comm in Texas is seeking an Eligibility Advisor I for a temporary, full-time role to determine financial eligibility for SNAP, TANF, Medicaid and related programs. You will interview applicants, review data, and authorize benefits in our modern eligibility system.

This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, one year of customer service experience, and proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 60 semester or 90 quarter hours preferred.
• One year of customer service experience with public contact required.
• Experience interviewing clients and gathering personal information preferred.
• Must pass background checks and comply with employment requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility for public assistance programs.
• Evaluate data and enter information into the eligibility system.
• Compute and authorize benefits based on eligibility.
• Process work per state and federal regulations and procedures.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
