Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Manager, Service Operations to lead elevator service operations across the Anaheim and South Bay territory. This hands-on leadership role oversees field mechanics, customer accounts, budgets, parts, safety, audits, and related activities.

You will collaborate with sales and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, maintain accurate service activity tracking, and ensure effective field execution.

Qualifications

• High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 3 to 5 years of elevator industry experience preferred, with strong knowledge of elevator and escalator service operations.
• Experience working with and supporting field mechanics or technical teams.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with field employees, customers, sales teams, and internal partners.
• Ability to work independently and apply practical knowledge of field operations, staffing, job requirements, and parts needs.
• Service sales or territory management experience is a plus.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, equipment service, or parts distribution may be considered for candidates without direct elevator industry experience.
• Flexibility to support rotating evening and weekend coverage.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of field mechanics across the assigned service territory.
• Oversee day-to-day elevator service operations, including customer accounts, budgets, parts, safety, audits, and payroll activities.
• Coordinate staffing, job requirements, materials, and resources to support effective field execution.
• Provide operational support and participate in rotating evening and weekend coverage as required.
• Partner with sales representatives and participate in customer meetings.
• Maintain accurate tracking of orders and related service activity.
• Communicate effectively with mechanics, customers, sales representatives, and internal partners.
