Job summary

Otis Elevator Company in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Manager, Repair Ops to lead field repair activities across the Harrisburg territory. You will coordinate parts, scheduling, safety, workmanship, and project follow-up with field leadership, customers, and vendors.

This on-site role requires elevator industry experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Elevator industry experience or leadership of field technicians.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or high school diploma with relevant elevator or related industry experience.
• Elevator industry experience as a mechanic, field leader, project manager, or in a similar operational role.
• Knowledge of elevator equipment, parts, material channels, and industry vendors.
• Ability to identify and order the correct materials accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with elevator safety protocols, safety plans, jobsite inspections, and FPA audits.
• Ability to coordinate field work and manage project performance against estimates.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of elevator repair, open-order, testing, and hydro modification work.
• Coordinate parts, purchase orders, and material deliveries to ensure the correct materials are available when needed.
• Complete job surveys and follow up on active and completed work to verify quality, workmanship, and jobsite readiness.
• Support mechanic scheduling, weekly time administration, labor planning, and daily field activities.
• Configure and use E-Log to track hydro modification projects, labor hours, and ordered materials.
• Monitor project performance against estimates and help resolve operational issues.
• Perform field safety audits, FPA audits, and jobsite inspections while reinforcing safe work practices.
• Build productive relationships with field employees, customers, vendors, and internal partners.
• Support modernization crews and direct-report responsibilities, if assigned.
