Job summary

Otis Elevator is seeking a qualified Modernization Superintendent to oversee repair and modernization projects in Chicago. You will lead field operations, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality across multiple sites, coordinating with project managers, contractors, and owners.

The role requires at least 4+ years in the elevator industry, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of elevator industry experience required.
• Excellent communication in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Routinely coordinates with project managers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for non-contract repair and modernization.
• Support modernization sales, scheduling, and QA.
• Ensure safety and quality across sites.
• Coordinate daily activities with branch project manager and stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and authorize change orders.
