Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Modernization Superintendent at its Downtown Chicago branch to oversee repair operations, select and train staff, and ensure safety across projects. You will drive modernization efforts, coordinate with project managers, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The role requires 4+ years in the elevator industry or related field, excellent communication, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to lead and direct field operations for a large volume of non-contract repair and hydraulic elevator modernization.
• Modernization sales support, route control, scheduling and quality assurance.
• Maintaining customer quality assurance; emphasis on safety, improving efficiencies, managing the expenditure of labor, materials and performance to estimate.
• Ability to coordinate daily activities with the branch’s project manager and work well with general contractors, owner’s agency and developers for various modernization sites.
• Providing technical support
• Travel within territory is required; driver’s license as required for your territory.
