Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a motivated Modernization Project Manager to oversee coordination of multiple modern installation projects. You will ensure on-time delivery, within budget, and compliance with safety standards.

You will collaborate with sales, superintendents, owners, architects, and authorities, manage contract activities, RFIs, change orders, and billing to optimize cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in elevator industry project management or construction.
• Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; stakeholder coordination.
• Leadership, time management, and organization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-schedule, on-budget project execution meeting safety standards.
• Coordinate contract activities from award to completion.
• Communicate with owners, general contractors, and authorities on design and scheduling.
• Collaborate with sales, superintendents, and leadership to ensure financial and customer success.
• Manage billing, payments, RFIs, and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret contract documents and estimate contingencies.
• Review project scope and ensure regulatory compliance.
