Schindler in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Field Superintendent for New Installations to oversee elevator installation projects, lead 12–20 technicians, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time delivery. You will collaborate with unions, support bid estimates, manage logistics, and train staff to enhance customer satisfaction and project outcomes.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and MS Office proficiency are required, with 5+ years in technical leadership

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry or related field
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive employee relations with proven leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing tradespeople
• 5+ years of technical leadership experience preferred.
• Flexibility to be on call
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop field technicians, coordinating job site readiness and ensuring safety and quality.
• Oversee all phases of elevator installation projects, monitoring progress and budget.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers, and internal teams to support regional objectives.
• Manage manpower levels in partnership with union representatives and resolve staffing issues.
• Support sales and project management with bid estimates and progress meetings.
• Ensure all installation projects meet contractual, company, and safety requirements.
