Job summary

Schindler Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Field Superintendent for New Installations to oversee elevator installation projects, lead field technicians, and ensure quality, safety and customer satisfaction across sites. You will coordinate with contractors, customers and internal teams to meet regional goals and comply with safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in technical or elevator-related roles, and a degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive employee relations with proven leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Flexibility to be on call.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of elevator installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, cost control and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop field technicians (12–20) and coordinate job site readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers and internal teams to support regional objectives.
• Enforce safety standards and company processes on job sites.
• Collaborate with unions and project management for bids, progress meetings and handovers.
