Job summary

Schindler in Houston seeks a Field Superintendent for New Installations to oversee all phases of elevator installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and develop a team of 12–20 field technicians, coordinate readiness, and act as the main liaison with contractors, customers, and internal teams to support regional goals.

The role requires 5+ years of technical leadership in elevators or related fields, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent,

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in technical leadership or elevator industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in relevant field.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of elevator installation projects, ensuring quality, safety, cost control and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop field technicians, coordinate job site readiness, and serve as primary contact for contractors, customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with union representatives to manage staffing and labor relations.
• Support sales and project management with bid estimates, progress meetings and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and company requirements.
