Job summary

Soho House & Co. is seeking a Server who understands and educates members and guests on menu items and allergies, delivering an elevated experience per Soho House Service Standards. You will enter orders into the POS accurately and support FOH and BOH collaboration.

A successful Server at Soho House maintains a positive, detail-oriented, process-driven attitude while handling high-pressure service and collaborating with team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and solve problems under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Demonstrates competency per training schedule and Club School.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management; complete checklists.
• Elevate dining experience with food and drink pairings and discuss specials to drive sales.
• Communicate allergy information to mitigate risk.
• Complete end-of-shift checkout reports and obtain management signature.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies and local laws.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets.
• Clean and stock server alley and bar area; polish silverware and glassware.
• Know the menu to make guest recommendations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
