Job summary

Soho House in the United States is seeking a Server to understand and educate members and guests on menu items and allergies, while delivering an elevated dining experience in line with Soho House Service Standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with FOH/BOH teams, pre- and post-service duties, precise order entry into POS, and flexible scheduling to support guest requests and peak times.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar server role.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments while solving problems under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-focused with respect for colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate the dining experience with menu knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Inform management of allergies or red flags to mitigate risk.
• Complete end-of-shift checkout reports and obtain sign-off from management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and Soho House standards.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets as needed.
• Keep server alley and bar area clean and stocked; polish silverware and glassware.
• Know the menu well and make recommendations when asked by guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
