Job summary

Soho House in New York seeks a Server who can understand and educate members and guests on menu items and allergies while delivering an elevated experience in line with Soho House Service Standards.

You will collaborate with FOH/BOH teams, manage orders in POS, and assist with pre- and post-service duties to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires calm, hospitality, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and problem solve under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and follow training schedules.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; able to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate the dining experience with recommendations and menu knowledge.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to management and chef.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and secure management sign-off.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company standards.
• Ensure accurate plating, timing and service of courses.
• Assist runners and bussers with tickets and service flow.
• Maintain server alley and bar area and stock as needed.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and make suggestions to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
