Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Server in Malibu to deliver elevated guest experiences and educate members on menu items and allergies. You will collaborate with Front and Back of House teams, accurately entering orders in the POS and supporting service staff throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience, a hospitable and proactive attitude, and a strong knowledge of menu offerings, pairings, and Soho House standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, effective problem solving under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management and complete checklists on trained processes.
• Elevate the dining experience with food and drink pairings and discuss specials to drive sales with clear communication.
• Inform Management and Executive Chef about allergies or red flags to mitigate risk.
• Complete end-of-shift checkout reports and have them signed by management.
• Follow health and safety policies and Company procedures, in compliance with laws.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets as needed.
• Keep server alley and bar area clean and stocked; polish silverware and glassware.
