Job summary

Soho House in Los Angeles is seeking a Server who can understand and educate members and guests on menu items, allergies, and Soho House Service Standards. You will enter orders in the POS, collaborate with FOH and BOH, and support guest requests to ensure a seamless dining experience.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar setting, a hospitable nature, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Tips/cash handling and POS knowledge.
• Hospitable, customer-service driven and respectful behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate dining experience with menu knowledge and pairing suggestions.
• Communicate allergies and flags to minimize risk.
• Ensure accurate order entry and post-shift reports.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company standards.
• Ensure proper plating and timely service of courses.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets.
• Maintain clean server alley and stock areas.
• Know the menu to make informed suggestions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
