Soho House in California is seeking a Server/Bartender to deliver elevated service and educate members on the menu while handling orders via POS and collaborating with FOH/BOH teams for seamless dining and bar experiences.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar setting, a hospitality mindset, and strong guest relations. Training and development opportunities are provided as part of the Soho House team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and stay calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service.
• Able to follow training and Club School guidelines.
• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management.
• Elevate dining experience with food and drink pairing options and discuss specials.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to management to mitigate risk.
• Complete checkout reports with accuracy and sign-off by management.
• Adhere to health, safety, policies and company standards.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers to support all table orders.
• Maintain server alley and bar area cleanliness and stock.
• Knowledge of the menu to make informed recommendations.
