Qualifications
- Requires college degree in education or related field.
- IL professional educator (PEL) credential in progress or current.
- IL Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) credential in progress or current.
- Experience with curriculum development, differentiation, and instruction.
Responsibilities
- Lead instructional process for Elementary School students with IEPs and design personalized learning experiences.
- Deliver targeted instruction using innovative curriculum resources and educational software.
- Create comprehensive lesson plans and schedules aligned with standards.
- Collaborate in co-teaching environments to meet IEP goals.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate files; generate progress reports.
- Implement PBIS strategies and manage diverse classroom needs.
