Ombudsman Educational Services seeks a Special Education Teacher for an Elementary setting to deliver targeted instruction within a learning center and classroom. You will design personalized experiences for students with IEPs, align with state standards, and collaborate across teams.

The role emphasizes PBIS, differentiated teaching, and ongoing progress reporting to support student growth and inclusive education practices. This is a full-time on-site position in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
• IL professional educator credential or in process required.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential or in process preferred.
• Experience with IEPs and special education services sought.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for elementary students with IEPs.
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusive settings.
• Develop and implement IEPs, goals, and interventions.
• Create detailed daily lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Maintain organized, safe classroom environment and equipment.
