Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with both churched and unchurched students. The role requires a mature Christian faith and active local church involvement, plus the ability to engage students with compassionate teaching.

Responsibilities include training, delivering LifeWise curriculum, maintaining records, and staying connected with school personnel and volunteers to support student well-being and spiritual growth.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training including the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance records and rosters; prepare materials for substitutes.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage emergencies and supplies.
• Communicate as a LifeWise ambassador and coordinate with school personnel and volunteers.
