Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms using the LifeWise curriculum. Candidates should have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and be an active church participant in agreement with our Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize lesson plans.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom environment with redemptive discipline.
• Keep attendance, rosters, and permissions updated; prepare substitute information as needed.
• Communicate with program director and school personnel; participate in outreach events.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
