Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share Bible knowledge and engage public school students. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring and perceptive.

You will deliver LifeWise curriculum, build relationships with students, and maintain an organized, redemptive classroom. This role requires adherence to the Statement of Faith and regular collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training; complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters and materials for substitutes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, engaging classroom and communicate with school personnel.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in duties and interactions; build volunteer relationships.
