Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel with students in public school settings, combining Bible knowledge with effective classroom instruction. The ideal candidate actively participates in a local church, communicates well, and shows genuine care for students’ well-being.

You will complete certified training, deliver LifeWise curriculum in class, and maintain records and relationships with volunteers and school personnel.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and praying for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging classroom environment and apply LifeWise policies.
• Take attendance and keep accurate class rosters and health-related records.
