Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a Part-Time LifeWise Teacher to share the gospel in a classroom setting with both churched and unchurched students. The ideal candidate actively participates in a local church and demonstrates strong communication, interpersonal, and caring teaching abilities.

Responsibilities include completing the LifeWise Teacher Certification, delivering LifeWise curriculum, fostering relationships with students, and maintaining meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and customize as needed.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain organized, clean classroom and keep attendance and records up to date.
• Communicate with program director, school officials, volunteers and parents as needed.
