Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms. The role requires active church participation, strong communication, and a minimum of two years teaching experience with students in school or church settings.

You will complete LifeWise teacher certification within 30 days, teach with LifeWise curriculum, build student relationships, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with program directors and school staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith agreeing with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the curriculum and customize as needed; build relationships with students through prayer and redemptive discipline.
• Maintain attendance records, rosters, and health notes; prepare substitute materials as needed.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom and manage classroom supplies and safety procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel and LifeWise directors; promote LifeWise religious mission in all duties.
